What is pipe bursting? 

Trenchless Pipe bursting machines split the existing pipe by pulling a pipe bursting head through the existing pipe, splitting the old pipe and pulling new pipe inside.  At the pipe pulling machine end a 2' x 3' minimum pit is needed.  At the other end, hole must be excavated large enough to feed the new pipe.  Because the structures, streets, driveways, trees and other things in between the pits are undisturbed,  project restoration costs are much lower.
