Water Leak Noise Loggers

Pre-Locate Municipal Water Leaks Systematically.

Water leak noise logger principles:

Water leak noise logging is a low-cost and effective alternative to night-work. The loggers measure the intensity of the noises during a defined period of time and look for the lowest noise level. If the level is very low, then there is no water leak near the SePem^® water leak noise logger.

SePem^® concept offers both short term and permanent leak monitoring. Individual water leak noise loggers can be placed into the next measuring spots after one or two nights of measuring. SePem^® software offers extensive functions for planning the measuring cycles and processing the data.

Acoustic methods for water leak detection depend highly on the intensity of environmental noises and must often be conducted at night.
